How To Crochet A Triangle Granny Square

These Are Super fun to make and can be used for all
 sorts of Crochet projects.
You can Make them from any yarn and any Crochet hook.
 Just make sure to use the Suggested hook on the yarn Label.


A Friend of mine asked me to write up the crochet pattern
 and make a Video. She wants to make some of these, 
and although she understand how to make a Granny Square,
She  just could not figure out how to make the Granny Square, 
into  A Triangle.

How To make a Granny Triangle Crochet Pattern

Please add this Pattern to Your Ravelry Favorites

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook - H / 5.0mm
Yarn - Worsted Weight (4) small amount
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double Crochet (dc)
Space (sp)

Size: 5.5 inches or as big as you want to make it

Notes:
Ch3 counts as dc.
Rounds are joined with a slst.

R: 1 - Ch 5, join in a circle.

In the circle, ch3, 2 dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1.
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2* Repeat From * to * 1 time, join to the ch3
 (3 sets of 3 dc, ch2)

 R: 2 - Slst in the next 2 dc, sl st in the 1st ch2 sp, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2
* 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch 2 in the next ch2 sp* Repeat From * to * 1 time,
join to the ch3, sl st in the next 2 dc, slst in the ch2 sp, ch3
(3 sets of 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2)

R: 3 - 2dc, ch2, 3dc, in the 1st corner, ch2, 3dc in the next ch2 sp, ch2
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, in the next corner, ch2, 3dc in the next ch 2 sp, ch2*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, join to the ch3, slst in the next 2 dc, slst in the ch2 sp, ch3
3 sets of  3 corners and 3 sides)

 R: 4 - 2dc, ch2, 3dc, in the 1st corner, ch2, 3dc in the next 2 ch2 sp, ch2
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, in the next corner, ch2, 3dc in the next 2 ch 2 sp, ch2*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, join to the ch3, slst in the next 2 dc, slst in the ch2 sp, ch3
3 sets of 3 corners and 3 sides)
Tie off and weave in your ends. 

To make the Triangle bigger, continue to repeat R: 5, only you will increase by one Ch3 pace on each side, for ech round. The Corners remain the same.


You can Make your "Granny Triangles" as big as you
 want and in any colors you like!
I think I will make mine into a Triangle pennant banner.
 You could make them in your favorite team color!
